Intro by Mike…
Genesis is currently our full time showroom assistant. I like to [humbly] think that she is proof we are doing something right with our culture because she joined our team via Stefany – her best friend, roommate, and another NS4L rockstar! She has one of the most positively infectious personalities I know and is always such a pleasure to be around. I also rely on her to keep me up to date on the latest, greatest vines and memes ☺ With her passion in social media marketing, it’s probably a matter of time before I lose her to Collin and our new media un-agency Repaint the Wall, but she’s quickly become a go-to for Hannah and I and we are so blessed to have her as part of our team!
Get to know Genesis…

How did you get suckered into working for NS4L?

I blame/thank Stefany for this one. I came home one August night to claim my usual spot on the couch, tired and not inspired by my current job. Stefany got home later than she normally did (exhausted) and we talked about our day. She told me how crazy busy hers was, but how she liked that she was getting home later because a) that meant more money and b) she got good lunches. I remember being confused because who actually LIKES staying late at work. She kept going on about her coworkers and how she liked her job, while I was over here on the couch hating mine. She told met the shop was hiring and the rest is history. And yes, I finally GET how one can actually love their job.

What do you do here?

Ever seen the movie Madagascar? I’m like the penguins; I just smile and wave.

What is your favorite ice cream?

Ben & Jerry’s Chunky Monkey, because, hey, you are what you eat  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What is your favorite smell that other people would find weird?

My dog’s paws — they smell like Dori-TOES (hehe), but seriously they do. Google the science behind it.

What movie can you watch over and over without getting tired of?

I can never get tired of Napoleon Dynamite, there’s something about tater tots and llamas.

What is your worst bad habit?

If you could live in any decade, which would it be?

I would live in the late 60/early 70s because it was all about peace and love.
