Get to know Daniel…
In your words, what do you do here?
I’m a scooter tech-assistant. I help our more experienced mechanics repair your scoots; they work on the more complicated things while I do the easier things like oil changes or light bulb replacements.
How did you get suckered into working here?
My parents wanted me to get some real-world experience while I was in high school, so I searched around for jobs that seemed interesting and found a listing for NS4L. The atmosphere and the people working here seemed really cool, so I put in my application. It’s been great ever since.
What is your favorite NS4L Core Value?
I like Core Value #12, which says that you have to bring breakfast if you’re late to work. It’s always nice to come into work thinking that someone might end up bringing donuts or some other good food.
What is your favorite throwback song? Why?
I don’t really have a favorite song. Any and all genres are good, except for boy bands of course.
If you were a scooter, which scooter would you be? Why?
I would be a Rough House 50. Those scoots are fun, rugged, and low maintenance. Like me, they’re a mix of the sophisticated city and the rugged country. I wish I could be as cool as the Rough House 50.
What inspires you?
I’m inspired by the people around me!
If you could have any occupation for the rest of your life, without worrying about skills or money, what would it be?
I would like to be an engineer at a large automotive manufacturer, and then found some kind of classic car-related company when I retire from the engineering job. I’ve always loved cars and bikes so following a career path that is heavily involved in them would be great.
