Our UF Campus Scooters Page was designed specifically as a resource for the college students of Gainesville.
Here is a map of the University of Florida Campus that you may find useful. 18 years years ago when New Scooters 4 Less was founded there were no “Scooter Parking Slots.”

Please remember to be courteous to your fellow scooter riders. Sometimes scooter parking can become congested and scooters are parked really close together. Be careful not to scratch or damage other scooters when you pull yours in to park.
18 years ago, there were only hashed blocks at the end of the car parking lanes. Today, there are parking slots like what is shown above. This makes it convenient for YOU to park close to all of your classrooms! You can park in all of these campus scooter parking zones:

Here is a close up of the ‘core’ area / UF Campus Scooter Parking Zones:
These are the scooter parking zones New Scooters 4 Less recommends for the core area of campus. These areas offer more space than others and are located close to a lot of classrooms.
Please note that the area within the diamond below are off limits during the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm. There are barricades up on these campus roads that limit all traffic from passing through. You will need to go around this diamond and avoid these roads during the business day. During all other hours, these roads are open so you can cut right through this area of campus.
So in order to park in all of the amazingly convenient scooter locations, you will need to get a parking decal from the University of Florida Transportation and Parking Building. This building is located on campus and can be found here:
You can also purchase your UF Campus Scooter Parking Decal online through University of Florida Transportation and Parking Services. The cost of a scooter parking decal for one year is currently $160.

Directions to New Scooters 4 Less from:
University of Florida
Take University Avenue east towards downtown. From UF, you will drive approximately 1 mile down University Avenue and turn left onto Main Street. Take Main Street exactly 1 mile until you see the post office and turn left onto NW 14th Avenue. Once you turn left onto NW 14th Avenue, you will see our building on the right (behind Popeye’s Chicken).
The easy “Scooter Route”: This route is best if you are riding your scooter to our shop. The speed limits are better for scooter riders on these roads. Take University Ave. towards downtown. Turn left onto NW 6th Street. Then turn right onto NW 14th Ave. and take it until you see New Scooters 4 Less on your left.
Santa Fe Community College
Coming from NW 39th Ave: Take NW 39th Avenue east until you reach Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street. Continue on Main Street until you reach NW 14th Avenue and turn right. Once you turn right onto NW 14th Avenue, you will see our building on the right (behind Popeye’s Chicken).
From Interstate 75
Take I-75 north until you reach Gainesville. There are 4 Gainesville exits and you will want to exit on the third one. It is labeled as the Newberry Exit. From this exit ramp you will want to turn right onto Newberry Road. Take Newberry Road and it will eventually turn into University Avenue. Continue on University Avenue past UF and towards downtown and turn left onto Main Street. Take Main Street exactly 1 mile until you see the post office and turn left onto NW 14th Avenue. Once you turn left onto NW 14th Avenue, you will see our building on the right (behind Popeye’s Chicken).
